Shabda offers meditation supplies for your spiritual practice, including tingsha and other meditation bells, Hindu statues, Buddhist statues, incense, and more . . .

Shabda's Tibetan tingsha meditation bells are the highest quality available. They are hand-crafted by master Tibetan craftsmen using traditional methods. Our tingsha are made of the highest quality metal, and are thicker and heavier than most found in the marketplace. They produce a superior sound, and have a solid feel and beautiful appearance. The deep, long sustain of our tingsha meditation bells will not deteriorate over time.

Resin Buddha Statues
We offer a number of resin Buddha statues, including this altar quality Medicine Buddha statue. All of our resin Buddha statues are made in the United States of an environmentally friendly, imitation ivory resin. According to John Blofeld, the term Buddha has a triple significance. First, it refers to the historical Buddha, Sakyamuni Buddha. Second, it refers to the spiritual principle underlying Buddhahood, the "urge to enlightenment". Third, it is that which is human in outline but imbued with splendor. This is how the Buddha is seen in our mind. Our resin Buddha statues depict many of these visions, such as Maitreya Buddha, Fear-Not Buddha, Zen Buddha, Reclining Buddha...

Buddhist Bells — Rin Gong
There are many types of Buddhist bells. These rin gong Buddhist bells are from the Zen Buddhist tradition. Rin gongs are rung at the beginning and end of meditation, to clear the mind and bring attention to the moment. Buddhist bells, including rin gongs, are also used to clear a space (feng shui), balance energies, or mark a special moment. We also offer Tibetan singing bowls, handbell and dorje sets, tingsha and Tibetan windchimes.

Hindu God Statues
Ganesh statues are only part of our large collection of Hindu god statues and Hindu goddess statues. The main Hindu deities are Shiva, Vishnu, and the great Hindu goddess Shakti. These various deities are seen as aspects of the transcendent divine, an attitude that encourages tolerance. Our Hindu god statues and Hindu goddess statues may depict the deity in either a benevolent or wrathful form.

Tibetan Meditation Bowls
Tibetan meditation bowls, also known as Tibetan singing bowls or Himalayan singing bowls, are collected throughout the mountainous areas of Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and India. The complex harmonics of the Tibetan meditation bowls are very effective in helping the mind relax into a peaceful meditative state. We guarantee that our beautiful, sonorous Tibetan singing bowls (meditation bowls) will become a valued part of your meditation practice.

Kuan Yin Statues
Our imitation ivory (resin) Kuan Yin statues are made in the United States, with the attention to detail appropriate for the meditation altar. We also offer brass Kuan Yin statues, in an assortment of sizes. Kuan Yin is the Buddhist goddess of mercy, and our Kuan Yin statues symbolize the universal qualities of love, compassion and benevolence. Kuan Yin is also prayed to by those desiring offspring. All who seek relief from pain and misfortune may turn to Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy.

Meditation Incense
Incense and aromatics have been used throughout human history for worship, healing, meditation and pleasure. We offer meditation incense from Tibet, Nepal and India, as well as natural Native American incense hand-crafted in the United States. Meditation incense can help one achieve a calm, peaceful environment in which to meditate.

Naga Kanya Statue
Naga, or serpent, cults date back to the earliest Indus valley civilizations around 2500 B.C.E. Nagas inhabit the underworld, where they guard the riches and treasures that are found there. The daughters of nagas are known as naga kanyas (nagakanyas). The upper part of the body is human, while the lower part is that of a serpent. Although we have placed our Naga Kanya (Nagakanya) statue with the Hindu goddesses, a case could be made for including it with the Buddhists.
