$48.00
SKU: HDM9
Price: $48.00
This Tibetan handbell/dorje set, used for meditation and Tibetan rituals, is a nine-prong dorje style. On the handle, beneath the head of Dharma, is a ring for placing one's thumb. Above the head is an eight-petal lotus from which emerges the nine-prong half-dorje handle. An iron clapper hangs from a cord inside the bell.
It has been reported that the nine-pronged dorje and bell are used in the ceremony for obtaining long life, which has been compared to Christian communion.
